We decided to go to the live Nativity in Ftn. Green. Brady was in it and invited over to see it. We met dad there and walked through it. it was really neat and the kids loved it. After they had hot chocolate and cookies. It was really cold but they had heaters and barrells of fire all over. It was really fun.
Gage was a little tree that didnt get picked to cut down so he had to stand the whole program and then at the end the animals came and decorated him. He actually stood there and did it. I was so proud of him. Gage and his best friends Max and Tess. He loves to play with them both and he has a little crush on Tess. Gracee had her school Christmas program the other night. She sang so good and looked so cute. She is such a sweetheart.
We are so glad that it is finally snowing.. It seems more like christmas time when it is white outside. Gracee and Gage couldnt wait to get out in it and play..
I was taking pictures of my crafts and Gage wanted his picture taken so I took a few. He is just now starting to like his picture taken which I am glad cause i love to take pictures..
We went up to my moms on Sat and went shopping, visiting and looked at lights. We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Andersons and visited for little bit then we headed to the mall. The kids had fun but we ended up at the mall for 6 hours way to long. Then we drove around and looked at lights and finally got home and hit the sack. What a fun and exhausting day. We did "see" Santa but Gage didn't want to sit on his lap.. He said I will tomorrow. So we just looked at him. He is a little chicken..
I just had to post these beautiful flowers that were given to me..My mom and the kids brought me some to the hospital. Liz and Steph my two good friends had some sent to me while I was in there also and Tj had given me some too along with this cute willow tree frame. Thanks to all it made my day...Also wanted to say thanks to my mom again, for helping with my kids, I dont know what I would do without her. Liz, Harmonie, Gussie, and my mother in law for also taking Gage and helping me out when I needed it most. I cant express how much I appreciate it..
Gracee just had her 9th birthday last Thursday.. I cant believe it has been 9 years. I still remember the day that I walked into the ICU and there she was in her bed up above all the other babies. The light shined right down on her and it looked like angels from heaven were guarding her until I got there. She truly is an angel sent from heaven. I love you gracee and am so glad that you are our daughter! She had a fun day we went up with Nana and went to build a bear. Then I ended up in the hospital so she didnt have to go to school on Friday and she was glad..Thanks mom again for being there for me. What would we do without Nana...
Last week Gage was no where to be found. I searched the yard our house the neighbors and i couldn't find him. I was getting really nervous and thought maybe he walked to his cousins, but they called and he wasn't there either. I was also so dang mad at him I he was so getting time out and then I realized how awful I was being because what if he really was gone..Finally after about 45 min this is where I found him..Can you just say total BOY!!!!
Gage got a note from preschool that said he should see an eye doctor. I made him an appointment and he did really well. They said that right now he is not presscribing him glasses but is monitoring him. He would of looked cute with them i think..
So I have had a run of bad luck lately and havent been able to post for awhile. I ended up in the hospital this weekend again i know. But i am on the recovery.. thank goodness. I will post soon...
OK so I am going to do it. I know no fun but I have heard to many stories and people have left me some comments that I dont know and so PLEASE leave me your email address in my comments and I will send you an invite. Thanks
I have been really sick the last couple of weeks and I had a few attacks last week and ended up in the ER. Then I had an ultrasound on my gallbladder and found that it was full of stones. Well I woke up Saturday morning and the doctor had called and said to come in and he was going to take it out. I also had a umbilical hernia i guess that he repaired while he was already in there. This picture is my gallbladder that was really full of sotnes. No wonder i felt like crap...
Well despite some minor set backs Mom, I and the kids had a good Halloween. Mom was on her way down and she ended up taking me back up north to the Er for my stupid gallblader. While I stayed there Nana played with the kids and they actually had fun, coloring and looking at the fish. I was there for a few hours then we went over to Grandma Colleens and trick or treated. Thanks mom for being there for us and making sure the kids had a fun night despite everything.. we love you.
Today Gage was playing with his friends and stepped on a piece of glass. Which usually he never goes anywhere without his cowboy boots on so of course the one time he has them off. I ended up taking him to the emergency room with the help of Tj's mom. The piece of glass was lodged in there. They tried to pull it out but couldnt so they numbed it and then finally got it out. They took some xrays and said that they were going to leave it open so that if any little pieces of glass where in there they could drain out. I felt so bad for him. He was actually really brave but he freaked out when they pulled it out. Which i would of too. We got home at like 3:30 and he wanted to go outside but couldn't walk of course so I went out there with him and we sat on the grass and played tractors. Then he started crawling around and had me lift him on his tractor he held his foot up and rode it for a minute. He is such a die hard. Then when we came in about 5 or so he fell asleep and is still asleep. I think it emotionally drained him..I guess no school tomorrow..Will see how he does!
