They finally made it! I went to my regular Dr appt on thurs the 22 and he said that my blood pressure was really high and I needed to go over to the hospital and have a nonstress test. My first thought was oh great this is exactly what happend with Gage. I had come up to the dr by myself so luckly mom was at work and she came upstairs with me to labor and delivery. When I first layed down and the nurse took my blood pressure she said "If your blood pressure stays like this you will be having babies today. I was kinda scared, nervous, and happy all at the same time. My mom called Tj to tell him to wake up and that we would keep him updated. Well my blood pressure went up and down so my Dr said he was going to take them. We called Tj and told him to get up here. My dr was so nice and said that he could wait for Tj they would just get me prepped. They wouldnt let my mom in this time and I was really sad about that. I really wanted her in there with me. By the time they took me into the operating room and gave me my spinal and prepped me Tj got there. As soon as he walked in they cut me open. First they took Hadlee she was breech. Then 2min later came Mylee after some digging high in the uterus the dr said. I didnt hear much crying but everyone said they were ok and going to check them out. I got to look at them for like 2 sec before they took them to the NICU. Tj went with them. There I layed and wandered if everything was ok. I hate that! They took me back to the recovery room and I was so glad to see my mom waiting there. They said that I would recover for about 30 min then I would go to my room. By the time I got to my room Tj was there and said that the girls were having a hard time breathing. The dr came in and said they were in respitory lung distress and needed to give them surfactant. He also said they were in cpaps and if for some reason it didnt work they would transport them to Utah Valley. It was so scary. I was still a litte out of it and couldnt see them. Tj said they were full of iv's, masks, cords and had been intibated. Poor Tj didnt know which way to go. He was such a trooper but a nervous wreck. They were finally able to get them stable and I am so glad. They thought at one point they were going to have to transport only Myleee. I know because of the blessing and prayers they were able to stay there together.
I was finally able to go see them about 5:00am the next morning. I couldnt hold them but was so glad to be by them. I was released from the hospital on Mon the 27th. Unfortunatley they had to stay. I was having the hardest time leaving and my emotions were so out of whack i just sobbed and sobbed. I couldnt imagine leaving them there and me going home! Tj paid for a night at the hospital so I could stay one more night. By Tues I felt ok to go to my Grandmas and stay. The kids came up to see them but everyone could only look at tehm trough the window. Which made it so hard.
It seemed like one thing after another with their health. Oxygen dropping, not eating, loosing weight, johndus, respitory, etc. It was so hard to see them laying there with all those tubes and cords. I was so torn between them and not seeing my other kids. They finally were strong enough to come home on 5/4/2010 12 days in the hospital.
It was so crazy going to my grandmas pumping, waking up going the hospital to feed them every 3 hours. Thanks to my mom for her love and friendship and for taking Gracee and Gage so that Tj could come back up and be with me over the weekend. Thanks to Gussie my dad and MIL Sheila for helping with the kids. To my grandma for letting me crash at her house. To everyone. What would we do without our family. I am amazed at what an awesome family I have and thank my heavenly father every day for them and for my blessing in my life.
What a ride it was and I am so glad that we are all home together and there health is great.
